Mental Health After Hours Emergency Services
Accessible in all six counties, the Emergency Services unit provides mental health crisis screening and assessment when HOTRMHMR offices are closed. Three master's level clinicians coordinate with Center psychiatrists, local hospital emergency rooms, law enforcement, and the DePaul Center for Psychiatry to ensure client safety.

Description:
Provides a rapid response screening for after hours, weekends and holidays for persons experiencing an acute psychiatric crisis. The goal is to reassure the caller and make disposition utilizing the least restrictive intervention. Services include providing crisis management, referrals, information, and arranging hospitalization if necessary. Emergency services are provided to the six county service area.
Hours of Operation:
Weeknights; 5 p.m. to 8 a.m.
Weekends; 5 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Monday
Holidays; 24 hours a day
